COMMISSIONS

ONLINE COMMISSION PRICE LIST

Commissions are done in a pin-up style, and are limited to character pieces only.  If purchasing a piece featuring an original/creator-owned character, you MUST supply sufficient reference material before I can begin work.  At an additional cost, if you're in the US, you can opt to have me ship you the original piece upon completion of the work.  The additional cost for shipping will be included in the total commission price.  Once the job is completed, I relinquish all ownership of the commissioned artwork.  It is yours to do with as you like, whether you had the original shipped to you or not.  The image will NOT be posted online by me anywhere without your (the client's) consent.

Please include a subject header of "Commission Request," as well as your name, the name of the character you'd like me to draw, your address (for shipping), reference pictures where appropriate, and a relatively brief description of the image you have in mind. E-mails will be checked regularly on weekdays.

Full Character - A standard pin-up piece featuring the chosen character drawn in (usually) some kind of action pose that is, again, dictated by the client.

**  Poses can vary a LOT, and often can be hard to describe in an e-mail.  It is for this reason that I encourage anyone getting a commission to send me any possible reference shots for poses.  On the other hand, you can opt to have me come up with a pose of my own for the piece.

**  Expected turn around times are projections for time needed to take the commission from finished roughs/layouts to final artwork. Time needed for roughs/layouts and client confirmation to move forward with finished art is NOT accounted for in this estimation. Figuring out the roughs/layouts can take anywhere from one afternoon, to a week or more, depending on communication.  Finally, expect to see these estimates change as my work load varies.

Important "Procedural" Details:

  • Once you've contacted me with the details of your request, and the job has been confirmed, I begin work on the layout and rough drawing.  When this is finished, I'll send you a scan of the progress, and you can decide if you'd like me to go ahead and finish the piece, or if more changes need to be made.

  • To ensure expediency, and also for the sake of my sanity, there is a time window for free revisions, and it closes one week after receiving the initial request, OR once progress has been started on the final art-- whichever comes first.  Each additional change or revision after this window closes will add $10.00 to the price of the piece.

  • You will be billed in two stages.  The first bill-- half of the total commission price-- will be invoiced to the supplied e-mail address via PayPal once work has begun on the final art, and any/all revisions have been made.  At this point I'll also send you a scan of the work so far, to confirm progress. At this point, progress on the commissioned piece WILL NOT CONTINUE until the first payment has been received.

  • The second bill-- the other half of the total commission price-- will be invoiced to the supplied e-mail address via PayPal once the art is complete.  At this point I'll send you another image of the finished piece, to confirm job completion.  Original artwork, if you opted to have it mailed to you, will be sent out upon payment of this invoice.
